We Heart Quiche


Last night I made quiche. We love it at our house! I make the crusts as well, using flour, butter, salt, and this time a tiny bit of veggie oil. The key is cold butter and cold water for a flaky crust. For the filling I used bacon (if you haven't tried Trader Joe's Applewood Smoked Bacon, do so!), spinach, sharp cheddar, and green onions. After it had baked awhile I set the tomato slices on top. It tasted as good as it looked. We're both enjoying it today!!
