Rainy Days

Today was supposed to be a break in the rain, and it was for awhile, but then more rain came. Trooper and I had a play date with a girl I met and her puppy. At 4:30pm it was pouring rain. We still kept our plans, because it seems like in Eugene you just have to get out and do stuff in the rain. Luckily the rain let up so we walked around on the paths. We didn't go in the dog park since it was really muddy. The pups seemed to get along until the other doggie gave me kisses. Then Trooper barked. He doesn't like any other dog kissing his mom. Trooper seems to be feeling better. He's still itching but not as much. We've been giving him his medicine so hopefully his skin will clear up soon. Not too much else going on here. I made eggplant punjab with chickpeas over rice for dinner with TJ's garlic naan. Pretty delicious on a cold damp evening. Jim's gone into our bedroom to study. Almost the weekend!
