A Fun Fourth

Jim and I are lucky to have a lot of really nice friends.  We were able to have a fun week of visitors.  What did we do?  A lot!  Here are a few highlights.
Twilight Tastings at Sweet Cheeks Winery.  After dinner at the Bier Stein, Jim's fave bar in Eugene.  Why is it his fave?  The music isn't loud, they have good food, they have hundreds of beers, and they close early.  His kind of place.
We hiked with Ashwin to the top of Spencer's Butte.
And enjoyed the view of the Cascades.
We went to a wedding in Salem and stayed the night at the Grand Hotel.  The wedding was awesome.  Have you ever been to a wedding with Jim and Amanda?  We dance our tootsies off!!  The videographer even asked me, "Are you two ever going to sit down!?"  Nope!  And then, because we had to pick up Trooper at the boarder's so early, we were lined up for 7am breakfast at the hotel.  We really are like 70 year olds.
We then drove back north to Portland to reconnect with a few of my high school/ college friends.  It was great!  We had drinks, went to a garden, and ate burritos.  Then in the morning I woke up and ran in a 10K.  I am going to need a week to catch up on my sleep!!!!
