I made a simple tote bag. After researching online, I found there are two basic ways to do this. I'll be trying out the other way next. PS: Friends and family: forget what you've seen here, especially as Christmas and/or birthdays approach.
The hardest part was the handles. Jim said the pattern (sale fabric; a little sturdier than cotton but not quite canvas) matches my blog.
Ta da! I don't know how much weight this puppy can carry, but if we need to buy big balls of cotton or other light weight materials, this will be the way to go!
