 Is summer finally here, Oregon?

 We were lucky enough to get out for a nice hike in the woods today. 

 This picture didn't turn out so great, but I wanted to share this cool flower. 

Yesterday was the annual Big Brothers Big Sisters fishing day.  It was a long day (7am- 6pm), but worth the time and effort.  My LS said it was "the best day of her life."  We went fishing on a reservoir off of the McKenzie River in the foothills of the Cascades.  The group that puts on the event made us breakfast, lunch, gave each of the kids their own rod and tackle box to keep, and cleaned all of the fish for us to take home.  Super generous, to say the least.
